Starting Point

ICDEC is a non-profit organization that aims to develop human resources and technology in the field Integrated Circuits in Indonesia. This organization was initiated by Polytron together with 13 universities in Indonesia.

Hannover Messe 2023 is the starting point to orchestrated a new Chips Design Foundation in Indonesia. Gathered 13 Indonesia University Chip Design Expert as founder and supported by Indonesia Ministry of Industry.

Vision & Mission

VISION

  • Introducing human resources, technology and the Chip Design ecosystem in Indonesia.
  • Develop networks to industry, government, academia and communities at home and abroad.

MISSION

  • Organizing Training and Standardization of competence in the field of IC Design at home and abroad
  • Provide access to facilities, design services, fabrication, chip/component manufacturing and host the Multi Project Wafer (MPW) program.
  • Provide chip development and testing facilities - Coordinate joint research among domestic and foreign institutions.
  • Build and facilitate partnerships with industry, government, and universities

Objectives

  • Preparing Human Resources in Chip Design in Indonesia.
  • Preparing infrastructure from Design to Fabrication and Testing in a fast time and at a low cost (Multi Project Wafer (MPW) and Shared Facilities)
  • Provides access to various Technologies and Wafer Fabrication
  • Develop a IC Design ecosystem by coordinating all activities between universities and institutions.
  • Accumulating technology and standardizing Chip Design Flow and Manufacturing Processes.

  • Availability of experts in the semiconductor industry, specially in IC Design.
  • Reducing development costs by increasing expertise for first silicon success.

MOU signing between PT.
